MCR sign Erin Jones!

Manchester Basketball can confirm the signing of 6’1” forward Erin Jones.

Born in High Bridge, New Jersey, Jones will be a familiar face to British basketball fans who will have seen the British passport holder during her spell with Caledonia Gladiators and the British National team.

After a stellar college career with Hartford University, University of Rhode Island and University of North Florida, Erin made her professional debut with the Gladiators before spending last season in Germany for Wings Leverkusen.

“I’m super excited to be in Manchester,” commented Erin.

“The club has well-respected coaches and staff members, an experienced team, and all the resources to be successful and that’s something I wanted to be a part of.”

“The vision for Manchester is new and exciting and I can’t wait to help make it into something special!”

Head Coach Krumesh Patel commented: “I’m really happy to have Erin join us, we’ve spoke couple years ago and it didn’t work out.”

“She’s a great fit for the team and a great person. She will allow to us to continue to flow and add another dimension to the good set of players we already have!”

“I’m excited for her to join us in Manchester”

Erin flies in to bolster a talented roster in Manchester and after completing her home debut on Sunday versus Hatters will be in front of the Belle Vue fans when they host Newcastle on Saturday.
