Manchester Basketball are thrilled to confirm the signature of American wing Eric Williams Jnr.
The Michigan native joins from Cyprus side Apoel BC. Williams Jnr had a stellar college career representing Duquesne Dukes for two years and Oregon Ducks for two years before signing for San Diego Toreros.
“It’s very exciting to be joining Manchester and I am looking forward to meeting my new teammates and the staff. I am also looking forward to exploring the city,” commented Williams.
Eric spent two short spells in the NBA G-League being selected by Cleveland Charge & most recently Memphis Hustle in March of this year.
Manchester Head Coach Callum Jones reflected on Eric’s arrival:
“Eric is a very instinctive player who can impact the game with or without the ball in his hands. His versatility and energy on both ends will help us in areas we need”.
“I’m looking forward to working with him, we're happy to have him on board.”
