Game Report: Manchester 94-77 Essex Rebels

Manchester win away as they outscore Essex by 17 points in 94-77 victory.

Lauren Thomas Johnson was the player of the game for Manchester as she recorded 20 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

Danni Williams also impressed as she recorded a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds in the game.

For Essex Rebels Taylor O’Brien impressed as they recorded 22 points and 9 rebounds.

Manchester dominated the first quarter and outscored Essex Rebels by 19 points. The first quarter ended with Manchester leading 39-20.

Manchester kept the momentum in the second quarter and were able to add to their lead. Manchester led by 21 points and the score was 62-41 as the teams headed into halftime.

Manchester were able to keep Essex at an arms length in the third quarter as they were able to rely on the big lead that they had built in the first half. The teams headed into the final quarter with Manchester leading 78-61.

The trend of the game continued in the final quarter with Manchester able to keep the momentum of the game and deny Essex Rebels the chance to get back into it. Manchester ended the game as 94-77 victors.

Manchester are back in action on Saturday February 22 as the head to Wales to face Cardiff Met Archers.
