Manchester fall short 79-86 on the road against Surrey 89ers.

Junior Madut impressed for Manchester as recorded 16 points 7 rebounds and 2 steals. He scored 14 points in the first half.

DJ Mitchell also impressed recording 12 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

For Surrey Dame Adelekun starred recording 20 points 10 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Surrey had the better of momentum in the first quarter. They ended the quarter leading 23-18.

Manchester were able to stay with Surrey in the second quarter. The teams went into halftime with Surrey leading 48-42.

In the third quarter Surrey were able to extend their lead to 10 points. Surrey went into the final quarter leading 65-55.

Manchester were able to reduce the deficit to seven points in the final quarter. The game ended 86-79 in Surrey’s favour.

Manchester are back in action on Sunday December 15 as they head to Scotland to face Caledonia Gladiators at the Playsport arena.
