Manchester fall to defeat against Sheffield Sharks 93-74.

Nathan Cayo impressed for Manchester as he recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds.

Prentiss Nixon starred for Sheffield Sharks as he recorded 24 points 11 rebounds and 6 assists.

It was an even first quarter between the two sides. The quarter ended with Sheffield Sharks 18-17.

The trend continued in the second quarter as the teams traded buckets with each other. The teams headed into halftime with the scores level at 36-36.

The game continued to be a tight affair in the third quarter. Despite this Sheffield Sharks were able to take a slim two point lead into the final quarter. The teams headed into the final quarter with Sheffield leading 56-54.

Sheffield Sharks took advantage in final quarter and took a sizeable lead that Manchester were unable to fight back from. Sheffield ended the game as 93-74 victors.

Manchester are back in action on Sunday February 16 as they take on Leicester Riders at the National Basketball Performance Centre.
