Manchester Basketball progress to the next round of the SLB Cup after defeating NBL D1 league leaders Hemel Storm 73-93 on the road.
Manchester weathered an first half storm that saw the hosts lead by as many as 9 at one point, but 20 points from Nathan Cayo by the end of the half and a rally from Makai Ashton-Langford late in the second gave Manchester a 46-49 lead.
Junior Madut spearheaded a fantastic third quarter from Manchester which saw them blow the game open outscoring Storm 13-25.
DJ Mitchell started to find his rhythm and with a punctuation dunk from Madut, the closing exchanges saw the visitors run out 73-93 winners.
Manchester will now face Leicester Riders at home in the next round of the competition. The men's team face Cheshire Phoenix at home tomorrow at 5pm - tickets are available here.
