Manchester fall short away at Cheshire Phoenix as they lose 116-85 in the Super League Basketball Trophy.

For Manchester it was DJ Mitchell who impressed, scoring 21 points in the game making six three-pointers.

Isaih Moore also impressed for Manchester recording 17 points and 5 rebounds.

Cheshire had seven players scoring over 10 points, Cameron Holden recording 21 points 8 rebounds 6 assists to along with 6 steals. His teammate Cameron Christon also starred for Cheshire Phoenix scoring 20 points as well as getting 5 rebounds.

Manchester stayed with Cheshire Phoenix in the first quarter with it ending 25-22 in Cheshire Phoenix’s favour. Phoenix though were able to extend the lead in the second quarter to 15 points with the quarter ending 60-45.

Manchester were able to put up some resistance in the fourth quarter as they reducing the lead to 21, out scoring Cheshire Phoenix by three in the quarter.

The game would eventually finish 116-85 in Cheshire Phoenix’s favour.

Manchester are back in action at The National Basketball Performance Centre on Sunday October 27 as they take on Sheffield Sharks in the Super League Basketball Trophy.
