Nathan Cayo impressed for Manchester as he recorded a double-double with 19 points 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
Makai Ashton-Langford also impressed as the guard recorded 17 points 6 rebounds and 9 assists.
Cameron Holden starred for Cheshire Phoenix as he recorded 19 points 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
It was an even contest in the first quarter. Cheshire were able to finish the quarter with a two point lead with the score at 20-18.
It continued to be an even contest in the second quarter as both Manchester and Cheshire traded buckets with each other. Cheshire ended the half leading 43-42.
In the third quarter Cheshire were able to grab an eight point lead. The teams headed into the final quarter with the scores at 65-57 in the favour of Cheshire.
Manchester fought back in the final quarter as they lead 86-84 with 50 seconds left on the clock. A TJ Atwood jump shot would tie the game at 86-86 with 30 seconds remaining. Manchester were unable to convert two opportunities to win the game and subsequently the game headed to overtime.
Cheshire were able to get the better of Manchester in overtime and the game finished 101-94 to Cheshire.
Manchester are back in action on Friday January 10 as they head to the East Midlands to face Leicester Riders.
